The property address and postcode — including the unit or floor if it’s part of a larger building. 2. The type of property — office, shop, restaurant, industrial unit, warehouse, mixed-use, etc. 3. The approximate floor area — in square metres or square feet if you know it (even a rough figure helps). 4. The heating, cooling and ventilation — e.g. simple heating only, or air-conditioning / mechanical ventilation (this affects the assessment level and price). 5. Why you need the EPC — selling, letting, a new lease, or a new build / refurbishment (so we can advise on timing). 6. Any deadline — a completion or marketing date we should work to. 7. Access details — who we should contact to arrange the site visit (you, the tenant, or the agent).
